Perimeter Protection Series – BASIC A protection and accident prevention system consisting of 40mm x 40mm or 60mm x 60mm x 2,240mm high vertical posts and 2,080mm high mesh panels with a 20mm x 20mm frame, connected by bolts. It is the standard method used in all guards for plant and machinery. BASIC Modular Perimeter Guarding from Procter is an extremely cost-effective and fully H&S compliant system. The BASIC system allows the user to create almost any guarding layout required (in 100mm increments) using all standard components. The design of SATECH mesh complies with all regulations and provides excellent visibility for an enclosed machine. This ensures operators have no visual hindrances during the inspection of production processes (EN 953-5.24, 5.10, 5.12). The external vertical wires also create a deterrent against climbing (EN 953-7.1), while the dimension of meshes allows the installation of guards at only 120mm from the danger point (EN 294-4.5).
