Exacting precision during manufacture and a very high build quality result in a machine that stands out above all others. The design centres around a heavy duty welded steel stand, to which is attached the entire workings of the machine. A massive, curved iron casting supports the motor and blade arbor, giving huge rigidity and blade support. This leaves the table completely unstressed and gives superb, smooth control of blade height and tilt adjustments. The cast iron table has twin 19mm mitre fence slots. The kerf plate is adjustable to the table surface. The riving knife is easily removed by releasing a simple latching pin. The full length rip fence with a T-square style mounting, glides smoothly and locks rock solid in position. A Hi-Lo sliding fence rail is included. The AP254TS comes with a cast iron, right hand side extension table, which doubles as a router table. It is machined to take a UJK 10mm Router Insert Plate or UJK Router Lift. Twin grooves are machined into the extension table for mounting a UJK RT-100 router fence. This table saw can be added to with several optional extras, including a 1,400mm sliding table complete with a UJK sliding table fence, the S-12 Overhead Crown Guard System, and a Dado Blade Set. Supplied with a top quality TCT blade, this table saw will suit any busy professional workshop N.B.
