Dehydrator 9 Tray No Timer 4900 The latest Excalibur food dehydrator built to the highest standards in the USA. 35 years of manufacturing expertise and their patented "Parallexx" horizontal drying process make this dehydrator the leader in its field for food dehydrating. The 9 tray 4900 model has a 7" fan and heating element mounted on the rear wall. Cool, dry air is sucked in through the back of the food dryer, heated up and then evenly distributed across each tray as shown in the diagram. During the dehydration process, the warm air removes the moisture from the food and this moist air is pushed out through the front and replaced with dry air from the back.
