Tog ratings are an indication of how warm the duvet will be when you are sleeping underneath it, so the higher the tog rating, the warmer you will be. We always recommend a low tog for warmer summer months 4.5/7.5 tog and a higher tog for winter 13.5/15 tog. If you would prefer to use only one duvet all year round then a 10.5 tog is most suitable.
